Our plant in Goch is situated in the Lower Rhine region - one of the most important European areas of potato cultivation. The potato varieties Agria, Bintje and Saturna are cultivated by farmers who have contracts with our company according to the regulations of controlled cultivation.

The german „Bundessortenamt“ a federal office for plant varieties annually issues a list of the different potato varieties. The description of the resistance, the quality and the yield qualities is done with the aid of tabular overviews of these varieties. Furthermore their preparation and consumption qualities as well as their suitability of producing refined products are shown. Some further parts of the list of varieties contain the reproduction areas of the past few years and the assignment of the varieties to the type of cooking as well as the tuber shape according to the grade order of the trade (Source: Bundessortenamt).
